1. Re: How to enable USER command logging with COMMAND_LOG
rareddy Jul 17, 2014 10:49 AM (in response to sanjeev.gour)That seems odd, both DATA and USER commands use same logging context and same level. May be ASYNC handler did not flush by the time you are viewing. Try FILE handler and see you see the same. You can link them by request-id and execution-id

sanjeev.gour Jul 18, 2014 2:34 AM (in response to rareddy)Tried with the FILE handler as well, didn't seem to work. I still get only the SRC commands logged.

3. Re: How to enable USER command logging with COMMAND_LOG
rareddy Jul 18, 2014 10:08 AM (in response to sanjeev.gour)The only option I can think of is debugging the code and see what is happening. There code is in DQPCore.java in method "logMMCommand". BTW what is the server version you are using?

4. Re: How to enable USER command logging with COMMAND_LOG
sanjeev.gour Jul 18, 2014 10:57 AM (in response to rareddy)Sure, will debug through those classes. We are testing this on AS 7 and Teiid 8.1.
Thanks Ramesh.

5. Re: How to enable USER command logging with COMMAND_LOG
sanjeev.gour Jul 28, 2014 2:55 AM (in response to sanjeev.gour)We get the proper log message, both USER COMMAND and the SRC COMMAND in Teiid 8.7 but they don't seem to work with Teiid 8.1. 8.1 only prints the SRC COMMAND not the USER COMMAND.
Do you think there is a possible bug in 8.1?

6. Re: How to enable USER command logging with COMMAND_LOG
sanjeev.gour Jul 31, 2014 9:04 AM (in response to rareddy)Hi Ramesh-
How much performance hit we would get when we enable the COMMAND LOG? Is there a way to enable it for certain queries and not for all?
Thanks.
