    Remote JMX access (jconsole)

Maybe it is a trivial issue. How can I enable a JMX remote access to FuseESB? I can connect locally using jconsole with user/pwd smx. But remotely jconsole doesn't work (with IP/1099  or   service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/rmi://IP:1099/jmxrmi). Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean when you say it doesn't work. Are you getting an error message? Without more information, I have no idea what the issue might be.

I'm using the lastest FuseESB release without any customizations (the files in conf dir are original). The tcp port 1099 is open. Lunching a jconsole from an other pc, in the window "Jconsole: connect to agent" tab "remote" I insert the IP address, 1099, smx, smx.  I press the button "Connect", I get "authentication failed" and the previous windows still prompts for ip/port/user/pwd ... Lunching a jconsole locally (where fuse-esb runs) the previous steps work.

It seems that the standard configuration enables the JMX access only locally (localhost). Any suggestions?

Now it works! the problem was a wrong entry in /etc/hosts file...

              Thanks
