1. Re: Remote JMX access (jconsole)
bsnyder May 21, 2008 1:02 PM (in response to matteo.redaelli)I'm not sure what you mean when you say it doesn't work. Are you getting an error message? Without more information, I have no idea what the issue might be.

2. Re: Remote JMX access (jconsole)
matteo.redaelli May 22, 2008 2:44 AM (in response to bsnyder)I'm using the lastest FuseESB release without any customizations (the files in conf dir are original). The tcp port 1099 is open. Lunching a jconsole from an other pc, in the window "Jconsole: connect to agent" tab "remote" I insert the IP address, 1099, smx, smx. I press the button "Connect", I get "authentication failed" and the previous windows still prompts for ip/port/user/pwd ... Lunching a jconsole locally (where fuse-esb runs) the previous steps work.
It seems that the standard configuration enables the JMX access only locally (localhost). Any suggestions?

matteo.redaelli May 26, 2008 3:59 AM (in response to matteo.redaelli)Now it works! the problem was a wrong entry in /etc/hosts file...
Thanks
