Salesforce connector dependency on CXF

Hi,

I'm facing some dependencies issues related to CXF. I'm able to create a web service connection for logging in and querying  a Salesforce account using methods provided in the force-wsc jar by Salesforce. Considering that the Teiid salesforce connector already has a dependency on this force-wsc jar (through Teiid salesforce-api), is there any specific reason for using Apache CXF for creating the web service methods?

It is for continuity with our other web services support and allows for a cxf config file to be used along with easily setting timeouts.  What issues are you seeing with CXF?  Are you running in a server or as embedded?

Thanks! I am using Teiid in embedded mode, I was facing some dependency clash issues with the customized jetty server that I was using for deploying it.
