Is there a data flow diagram that showcases how data flows into the data virtualization layer for cache and "extract" on Teiid Server? I understand that there shouldn't be the need for an ETL process, however, I am understanding that often there is a need to have a federated transformation and extract service to make requests appear seamless as if running off of the sources.
This cached or extracted data doesn't reside within the vdb file does it?
