Jboss Fuse Diagram View is not active

    seybaa

I have install jboss-devstudio-8.0.0.GA-v20141020-1042-B317-installer-eap.jar then install Jboss Fuse tooling

But when I create Fuse Project the Fuse the camel route  Design Diagram is not active.

I have also install Luna and http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/integration/luna/integration-stack/fuse-tooling/7.3.0/all/repo/

But when I create  switchyard project the camel route designer is active.

Is Fuse project and swtichyard project interchangeable ?

          Hey Jean -

The tools that form the 'integration stack' for JBoss should be installed from JBDSIS - it's easy.   If you already have JBDS 8.0.0.GA

installed, the best way to get the Fuse Tooling (currently in beta for Luna) is through JBoss Central:

          • start jbdevstudio
          • select the Software/Update tab in the JBoss Central view
          • check the 'Enable Early Access' checkbox
          • select 'JBoss Integration and SOA Development'  (this will give you both Fuse Tooling and SwitchYard)

If you'd rather use the Eclipse p2 installer:

Let me know if you have any problems.

Thanks the problem is really weird.I have install jbdvs 8 and kepler then use JBoss Tools - All Downloads

JBoss Tools - All DownloadsEclipse Version JBoss Developer Studio JBoss Developer Studio Integration Stack JBoss Tools JBoss Tools Integration Stack Eclipse Luna 4.4

            View on tools.jboss.org

            Preview by Yahoo

for the plugins and integration, this worked fine.then I did some other plugins installation, then I got back to the problem.hen I createa Fuse project blueprint  type of project, after that I opened Cameel-spring project then designer for camel-context.xmlwas gone, I don't know if one has to activate this, this is the problem I am facing.tks

Just to double check what you did:

              - you installed JBDS

              - you installed Fuse Tooling on top of JBDS

              - you created a Fuse Project

              - you changed to the Fuse Tooling perspective?

              - you opened the "Camel Contexts" folder under your new project (in the Fuse Tooling perspective)?

              - you opened the context file with the correct editor?

If you did all the above then the editor should show up fine. Maybe you could elaborate a bit more detailed what the steps where you did?

              Thanks in advance,

              Lars

Glad that it works for you now. I am still wondering though, why the Fuse Camel Editor wasn't the default editor for your context file.

I am wandering can swtichyard project be deploy on Fuse esb jboss-fuse-6.2.0.redhat-059 ?

ah - that explains it. Google unfortunately insists to have their xml editor marked as default for *all* xml (https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=28147)

The workaround is as you did, use the context menu to use Open With... and eclipse should use that the next time too for your file.

Tks LarsDo you have any idea if one has a Fuse esb jboss-fuse-6.2.0.redhat-059 server Then I can create a swtichyard project in jbds or in eclipse then deploy that project on jboss-fuse-6.2.0.redhat-059 ?or it has to be deploy on jboss-fsw-installer-6.0.0.GA ?Or to deploy on Fuse esb jboss-fuse-6.2.0.redhat-059 server  the project has to be Fuse project type ?Tks
