How to know on which port Teiid Embedded server is running

Hi,

I tried to connect the Embedded Teiid server on port 31000, but not getting success. Connection is getting rejected.

The error I am getting

org.teiid.net.socket.SingleInstanceCommunicationException: TEIID20020 Error establishing socket to host and port: xxxx.xx.xx.xx:31000. Reason: Connection refused: connect

Is there any way to get/set port number for Embedded Teiid server.

PS: I tried to run multiple instances of Embedded server on same machine at same time, and all are up without any error. so it seems there is no fixed port number and it automatically picks some unused port.

Embedded by default does not come with capability of remote connections. The fact it is EMBEDDED, it is intended for local JVM use. For that you need to call "getDriver()" on the EmbeddedServer and do a connection to EmbeddedServer. If you really want a remote connection then you need to add that socket connection in.
