michpetrov Jul 13, 2015 6:10 AM (in response to sandy4you)This isn't really a JSF/RichFaces issue, if you want to prevent some client-side behavior you'll have to use JavaScript. What is the use-case?

sandy4you Jul 20, 2015 12:14 AM (in response to michpetrov)Hi Michal,
Sorry for posting the question here.
I'm looking for a centralize solution to disable any button on the given page once clicked and should be enabled after the response is rendered.
For more details on the problem please see above in the question.
Also what I was thinking is to display something like "Request In-Progress" icon and disable the entire page below.
Need help on either of the solution which ever you feel is feasible.
Thankyou.
Regards,
Sandy

sandy4you Jul 24, 2015 1:22 AM (in response to michpetrov)Hi Michal,
Can you please help me to implement something like the 'Loading...' which you can see here itself in the site.
What do you think will this be feasible solution?
Whenever there is a click on the page, the 'Loading...' pops up and the underlying page is disabled.
By this way we can have a centralized code and no need to modify any of the existing buttons.

Sandy

michpetrov Jul 24, 2015 5:50 AM (in response to sandy4you)You can use rich:popupPanel with modal="true" to display a loading message, it will prevent the user from clicking on the page. If this page uses something similar then just look up the code, this is a client-side issue.
