How to log the time taken to serve the request, in access log

Hi,

I want to log the time taken to serve the request in the access log of WildFly 9. I enabled the access log with the following pattern : "%h %l %u %t "%r" %s %b %T".

%T is supposed to log the time taken in seconds, but I always have a dash -. Same result with %D.

Is there a specific configuration to enable this output ?

Have you added the record-request-start-time="true" attribute to the connector ?

What it does?

If this is true then Undertow will record the request start time, to allow for request time to be logged. This has a small but measurable performance impact.

CLI command to enable it :

/subsystem=undertow/server=default-server/http-listener=default/:write-attribute(name=record-request-start-time,value=true)

That was the point. With this attribute, I have the time taken in the access-log.
