jrod2016 Jun 24, 2016 4:49 PM (in response to rareddy)We went on to write our own custom translator/data-source. But looking at the source code of the rest-translator definitely helped.

5. Re: Using a secure REST endpoint (Cookie based auth) for restservice-as-a-datasource from Teiid-embedded (9.0.0CR2)
jrod2016 Jun 29, 2016 1:12 PM (in response to shawkins)Our initial data sources for teiid were the REST endpoints in the same webapp, where Teiid is embedded. That's when it seemed like the provided webservices-translator was the solution, but on further thought, we decided it would be more flexible to implement a custom translator. So, instead of calling the REST endpoint, we decided to call the service layer stuff, the REST controller was calling. This also frees us from the overhead of REST. Also, we can now define our own parameters for the exec command.
