Getting a list of steps within the job

I am running JBeret standalone so in order to do restarts I am going to need a batchlet that checks the restart step name passed in to see if it is a real step or not. Is there a way to get a list of the step names in the job?

It's not available in the standard JSR 352 API.  You can use jberet internal API (which may change in the future, and its use should be avoided):

JobContextImpl (jberet-core 1.3.0.Beta2 API)

You can cast the injected JobContext into JobContextImpl, which has a getJob(), then getJobElements() to get a list of job elements (including steps, decision, flow, split).
