Unable to fetch process instance diagram on KIE server

I need to display the process instance image diagram in a custom UI.

I am trying to fetch process instance image using the KIE server api as mentioned in the article below,

I have followed all the steps as mentioned in the article but i am getting error,

I am able to download process image using 'curl' tool. Make sure you have made required changes in jbpm.xml file as described in article. Give a try with below curl command and check if you can download process image

I tried with the curl option still same error .

after doing the changes to jbpm.xml (under business-central.war\org.kie.workbench.KIEWebapp\profiles) .svg files  are getting created in the kie wb under other folders of project repository.

I need to fetch process instance image for a given instance id.

Hello Sandesh,

Do you use custom Kie base for your process?

If so then this issue was fixed in BPMS 6.4 as part of [1].

Hi, some suggestions:

- make sure that the SVG saving is enabled

- the kjar has to define a kie base "defaultKieBase"

- if the process definition is not in the root folder, the property package of the Process must reflect the actual process location

After creating the process in default package it got resolved. its fixed from 6.4 onwards
