Can I pass SQL in to source model?

Hi all,

I am wondering if this is even possible. 

Can I pass a string of SQL in through REST call into my vdb to have customer specific SQL to query source model database?

I see there is a Native Query Procedure that allows you to execute any SQL against the source.  Can the SQL against the source be dynamic or does this have to be defined?

I hope my question is clear

Using the direct or native procedure, whatever you pass at runtime is executed.  The procedure takes a variable number of parameters which are typically handled as binding, which adds some safety - otherwise you need to be careful not to allow for sql injection.

Using the native-query extension metadata property allows you to associate a fixed source query (typically sql) with a source procedure or table.

Is Teiid able to handle dynamic SQL being passed in to execute against the source metadata? Is there a way this could be done.
