1. Re: Virtual Procedure to update data into table is not working
van.halbert Nov 22, 2017 8:42 AM (in response to paulus107)What version of Teiid Designer are you using?
Also, can you duplicate it. I've tried and cannot, but I'm using JBDS 11 with a newer version of TD (11.1.1) that's about to be released.

5. Re: Virtual Procedure to update data into table is not working
van.halbert Nov 22, 2017 10:55 AM (in response to paulus107)I tried it and didn't see the issue. But that's not to say, with the right keystrokes, it could happen again. When I copy in what you stated above, and then click save, I just get the validation error in the INSERT tab.

rareddy Nov 27, 2017 10:32 AM (in response to van.halbert)I believe when "default" for "supportsUpdate" is used, the canvas should be empty, maybe Designer is generating the default what it thinks then getting into validation issues? Looks like a bug to me.

8. Re: Virtual Procedure to update data into table is not working
rareddy Nov 30, 2017 9:00 AM (in response to paulus107)I believe since that code is auto-generated in Designer it may be a bug which is failing to clean up properly. IMO, it should not clean up any text but make the editor not editable, and keep the data intact if you entered any text at all in case if you change your mind about default updates, as default updates are very limiting in functionality. So, you can log a JIRA for tooling for this bug at - JBoss Issue Tracker
As a workaround, delete all the text yourself and see if that helps.
