How does Teiid compare to the JBoss Enterprise Data Services Platform?

Hi,

In FAQ "FAQ · Teiid ", for the following question "How does Teiid compare to the JBoss Enterprise Data Services Platform?", it says

"The Server provides additional functionality that would be expected by an enterprise server – authentication, authorization, load-balancing, and numerous extensibility capabilities. Examples of functionality available with the Enterprise product are: multi-source distributed transactions, multi-source updates through views; importing of enterprise data models from numerous 3rd-party vendors; and connectors to packaged applications."

In open source teiid software I can see these options being present, is there any difference between the open source and the commercial version like the protocols being used to provide these capabilities ?

JBoss Enterprise Data Services Platform name has been changed to "Redhat Data Virtualization" starting with 6.x version.
