Teiid Designer: Access XML file from ftp or sftp location

Hi,

I am using Teiid 9.1.3 and WildFly 10.0.0..

I need to know can we access XML file from ftp or sftp location using Teiid Designer? If yes Could you please explain configuration steps for the same...

Also if you wanting to use in Admin API, it is exactly same as before just use the properties from CLI that defined in the second link.

But is it possible through Teiid Designer because on XML import option I can only see two modes to import XML file.

1. XML file on local file system.

2. XML file via remote URL

No support there. You can build as local file on Teiid Designer and then maybe change later directly in the VDB, by changing the resource-adapter. The translator will be the same. So, effectively you are modifying the JNDI URL of the model.

To do this, when you are done developing the VDB, export as XML form and then edit it and then deploy outside the designer.
