1. Re: How to access WildFly credential store service?
sidde3 Jan 31, 2018 4:25 AM (in response to tstiemerling)Hi,
It does not look like, you need to have so many dependencies to be mentioned, wildfly-server and wildfly-elytron artifacts will be sufficient.
Maven Repository: org.wildfly » wildfly-server » 8.1.0.Final
Maven Repository: org.wildfly.security » wildfly-elytron » 1.1.0.Beta41

tstiemerling Jan 31, 2018 12:30 PM (in response to sidde3)Where do you get Maven Repository: org.wildfly » wildfly-server » 8.1.0.Final from? This seems to be from an older version, not WildFly11.
I am now able to compile and run using these dependencies:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.wildfly.core</groupId>
<artifactId>wildfly-server</artifactId>
<version>3.0.8.Final</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.jboss.xnio</groupId>
<artifactId>xnio-nio</artifactId>
<version>3.5.4.Final</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
<dependency>
<groupId>org.jboss.msc</groupId>
<artifactId>jboss-msc</artifactId>
<version>1.2.7.SP1</version>
<scope>provided</scope>
</dependency>
and I also have to add this to the standalone.xml global modules:
<module name="org.jboss.msc" slot="main"/>
<module name="org.jboss.as.server" slot="main"/>

WildFly was split into source two repositories in 9 development frame.
so you have WildFly core and WildFly.
Core server stuff you are looking for is part of WildFly core and as such uses different groupId.
Currently latest is 4.0.0.Final that is used in WildFly 12 (both released yesterday)
for all versions see http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.wildfly.core/wildfly-server
example would be:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.wildfly.core</groupId>
<artifactId>wildfly-server</artifactId>
<version>4.0.0.Final</version>
</dependency>
as for what core is in which version of WildFly, you can always check sources.
but in rough,
core --> full
1.x = 9.x
2.x = 10.x
3.x = 11.x
4.x = 12.x
....
