How to receive design guidance for potential contribution?

Hello,

I haven't contributed to ShrinkWrap before, but would like to consider making a contribution to resolve SHRINKRES-214.  Given some design guidance and some basic support, I think this would be feasible.  The issue itself hasn't received any attention and I didn't get any feedback on the forums.  Is there another way I should be reaching out?
