deploying jbpm-jpdl-3.2.1 to tomcat 5.0.28 with/without mysq

Hi,

I recently downloaded 3.2.1 and ran it fine on jboss out of the box. Previously I had deployed versions of jbpm 3.1.x fine on tomcat 5.0.28 including with mysql. For some reason though (probably because I am missing some requirement) when I deploy jbpm-jpdl-3.2.1 to tomcat 5.0.28 with either hsql or mysql hibernate, I can not log on, I have added a user 'user' as outlined in the example logon screen to the mysql database.

Is there a guide somewhere detaling how to deploy 3.2.1 to tomcat 5.0.28, does anyone have it running with mysql or hsql?

I've also checked if the instructions on

are still valid for jBPM 3.2.1 and made some minor changes where necessary, so this could also help to get you started!

most things seem to be straight forward to follow using the aproach detailed in http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=JbpmOnTomcat, but on tomcat 5.0.28 I am getting the following error when accessing the webapp...

Ross,

as TC 5.0.28 doesn't include the el*.jars by default as the TC 6.0 series does, you will have to repackage el-api.jar and el-ri.jar back into jbpm-console.war/WEB-INF/lib (these files get deleted by the ant call described in step 2.1 of the wiki and can be found in the original web app jbpm-jpdl-3.2.1/deploy/jbpm-console.war/WEB-INF/lib).

In addition, the included xml parses make problems as well, so you will also have to replace/delete the content in common/endorsed.

Please let me know if you encounter any additional issues.
