I assume we talk about EC2. My approach would be to launch a back-end, then put necessary files (your driver, tweak JBoss, etc), then rebundle the instance. Doing that you'll have your own, private AMI with back-end functionality, but with your changes.

goldmann Aug 10, 2010 1:51 AM (in response to robertolima)Second approach is to build the AMI using BoxGrinder, with another RPM containing your changes – this takes more time, but at the end you'll have a repeatable way of creating your back-end.
