1. Re: Create Web Service with Input Parameters
tejones Jul 7, 2011 10:20 AM (in response to iniciam)iniciam,
The input schema is used for the request in the WSDL, so it is required. However, if you are exposing a relational table, you can right-click on the table and select Modeling->Create Web Service. This will generate the xsd for you. The primary key is used as the input value, so if ID/Country is the key to the table you are exposing, then those will be the used as input to the web service operation.
Here is a link to the guide that will walk you through the steps: http://docs.jboss.org/teiid/designer/7.4/user-guide/en-US/html/newmodels-chapter.html#web-service-view-from-relational-section
Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks,
Ted

3. Re: Create Web Service with Input Parameters
tejones Jul 8, 2011 9:44 AM (in response to iniciam)I suspect that your table that you are generating a web service for does not have a primary key defined. That is needed for WSTView_Input.xsd to be generated. Is that the case?

4. Re: Create Web Service with Input Parameters
iniciam Jul 11, 2011 3:34 AM (in response to tejones)Yes, it's correct. Now the input xsd is generated.
Thanks.
