kcbabo Sep 10, 2013 12:52 PM (in response to srini8881)If you are trying to pass a property to the underlying Camel component, you have to use the "double dollar" syntax of $${date:now:yyyyMMdd} . This prevents the SY config layer from replacing the property and ${date:now:yyyyMMdd} is passed down into the Camel component and interpreted there.

It is still not working.
Even after having two $, it is not translating into date time. Instead, it is just returning ${date:now:yyyyMMdd hh:mm:ss}
